2017 NFL Draft Kansas City Chiefs Scouting Report Central

The 2017 NFL Draft is still months away, but KC Kingdom is striving to provide scouting reports for as many prospects as possible. These are prospects that the Kansas City Chiefs could have a shot at landing.

With the 2017 NFL Draft arriving in a few months, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be monitoring as many prospects as possible. With the Combine and other draft events still on the horizon, there’s still a lot of speculation on all of the players entering this year’s draft.

The Chiefs don’t draft until 27th overall in the first round, which will seem like years on that actual night. Remember last year how we waited all night only to find out the team traded out of the first round?

If anything, the Chiefs could be contenders to trade up in this year’s draft. They need to start thinking of who that next quarterback is going to be after Alex Smith’s time is up in Kansas City.

The Chiefs also need to invest in a young running back, as Jamaal Charles’ tenure as a Chief is likely over. Other areas of need are at pass rusher and run stopper, both spots in which the Chiefs struggled in last season.

Will the Chiefs go with one of those four positions or will they decide to draft for depth at another position? KC Kingdom is covering as many players at as many positions as possible.

    Will the Kansas City Chiefs wind up drafting any of these guys? We won’t know for sure until draft weekend, but this is always an exciting time for football fans.
