Bobby Witt Jr. is on an absolute heater, becoming one of MLB’s best players since May. He’s on pace for the Royals’ first 30 HR-30 SB season in franchise history and will likely garner MVP consideration if he continues this torrid pace.

The 23-year-old superstar is not only earning himself some extra cash in his next contract but is cashing in for bettors as well.

Witt Jr.’s 2+ Total Bases prop has become an easy way to back the former No. 2 overall pick, and I recommend betting it every day until he cools down.

I’m betting the Witt Jr. over at DraftKings today with a special guaranteed promo. If you sign up for DraftKings and bet $5 or more on this prop, you’ll INSTANTLY receive $200 in bonus bets to use freely! Sign up for DraftKings now, then check out why I love this prop so much.

Bobby Witt Jr.’s Total Bases Prop

Still listed at plus-money over at DraftKings, Bobby Witt Jr. to Record 2+ Total Bases is the easiest way to profit on the Royals of late.

He’s recorded at least two total bases in 15 of his last 21 games, averaging a remarkable 3.71 bases per game. In that stretch, he finished with at least three bases 13 times, including in seven of his last nine.

Nonetheless, DraftKings still has Witt Jr. listed at +105 to get over 1.5 total bases tonight vs. the Athletics. He’s +200 at FanDuel to record at least three bases, giving you multiple ways to approach the prop. If you’re feeling bold, FanDuel also has him at +330 to record 4+ bases, a mark he’s hit in four of six games.

At +105 odds, if you bet $100 on Witt Jr. to get 2+ bases each of the last 21 games, you’d be up $975!

I think it’s worth sprinkling a bit at both sportsbooks, especially given the pitching matchup tonight. While Paul Blackburn is pitching well overall for Oakland, he still ranks in the 34th percentile in xBA (expected batting average) and his 4.17 xFIP (expected Fielding Independent Pitching) is middling at best.

Blackburn’s second-most used pitch is a cutter, though opponents are hitting .385 against it. Well, Bobby is mashing cutters, generating a Run Value of 8 while slugging .813.

Most defensive metrics make the A’s handily the worst team in the league and their 5.54 bullpen ERA is at the bottom by a hefty margin as well. Even if Blackburn pitches well, Witt Jr. will have ample opportunity to cash this prop.

We’re witnessing one of the greatest seasons in Kansas City Royals’ history. The club is fun to watch right now, with Bobby being the chief reason why. If he’s going to keep destroying baseballs, we might as well profit from it!

I’ll be backing this prop every day I get the chance.
