The Chiefs have made several major moves over the last few weeks, notably trading away star CB L'Jarius Sneed and signing 1,000-yard WR Hollywood Brown to solidify the wide receiver room.

While Kansas City still needs to address a few positions, there are no glaring needs that force them to take a particular position in the early rounds. Brett Veach can let the draft fall to him, and that's exactly what he'll do in this latest 2024 NFL mock draft.

Our first mock had the Chiefs finding a potential Chris Jones replacement in the first round, though that's no longer necessary. Let's go through a full seven-round mock using the Pro Football Network simulator.

Chiefs 7-Round NFL Mock Draft

1. Kingsley Suamataia - OT, BYU (Pick 32)

Kingsley Suamataia was brought in on an official visit with the Chiefs and the BYU standout tackle makes a lot of sense for Kansas City. 2023 starting left tackle Donovan Smith is not on a roster and while third-round rookie Wanya Morris fared well in spot starts, he doesn't have the same long-term upside that Suamataia does.

The 6'5", 326 LB former five-star recruit has two years of starting experience and exceptional physical tools. He'd be a logical fit in Andy Reid's scheme and even reached 21.5 MPH during his freshman year.

Suamataia surrendered no sacks in 632 snaps as a right tackle in 2022 before switching to the left side in 2023 and giving up just two in 644 snaps. The cousin of Lions' star Penei Sewell, Suamataia is a player who could develop into the Chiefs' long-term answer at either the right or left side.

His unique blend of size and quickness along with immense potential should make him a first or early second-round pick. It's tempting to go with a wide receiver here and someone like Georgia WR Ladd McConkey could be an option.

That being said, I couldn't resist potentially solidifying the offensive line for years to come given the overall depth at WR in the 2024 class.
