Well there you guys have it. Those are five players who I feel are overrated on the Chiefs roster. A lot of these guys were tough to put on here due to their popularity among the fans, but that shouldn’t prevent people from being allowed to believe they’re overrated.

Eric Fisher is overrated mainly due to his first overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. He certainly hasn’t lived up to his number one draft pick and year three is a do or die year for Big Fish.

  • Mike DeVito’s presence was missed in 2014, but his stats the year before weren’t incredible and they definitely weren’t close to his days with the New York Jets.

Ron Parker had good stats last season, but before that he was nothing special at all. After getting a rather large contract from the KC Chiefs during the off season, Parker is tied with the team for a few more years and needs to play as well as he did last year.

Tamba Hali, as loved as he is in Kansas City, is not as good of a player as he use to be. He had six sacks in 2014 and just hasn’t looked like the guy he was in his prime. Now it’s not to say he’s a bad linebacker by any means and I’m glad he can continue his career in Kansas City as a Chief, but Hali is an overrated player headed into 2015.

Alex Smith is one of the most debated players for the Kansas City Chiefs. Is he elite? Is he a good quarterback? Can he throw the deep ball? Everyone has their own opinions on Smith and this is the year that he finally needs to step up and show what he’s capable of as a former first overall pick.

What do you guys think of my five most overrated players? Am I crazy? Let me know!
