Mizzou Football: Five Tigers who could get selected in 2021 NFL Draft
Mizzou Football Players in the 2021 NFL Draft – Larry Rountree III, RB
While Mizzou fans feel like Larry Rountree III should go much earlier in the draft, the fact of the matter is that running backs just aren’t valued as highly as they once were. Rountree should be a late-round selection for a team who’s looking to take a flier on him and see if he can turn into anything at the running back spot.

Once on a roster, unless he can really turn on the jets, Rountree probably won’t be anything more than a RB3 in his rookie year. He had a nice senior season, rushing for 972 yards and 14 touchdowns in the first year of Drinkwitz’s offense, but it’ll be interesting to see if the Tigers running back can make any kind of splash in the NFL.
Look for Larry Rountree to go off the board in the sixth or seventh round of the draft.
Mizzou Football Players in the 2021 NFL Draft – Larry Borom, G
The first player to appear on this list who might not get drafted is offensive guard, Larry Borom. While versatile during his MU days (he played both the interior positions and tackle spots for the Tigers), Borom isn’t the most athletic, according to his draft profile on The Draft Network. Obviously, that’s important offensive linemen.
Borom potentially could be a seventh-round draft choice by a team looking to add offensive line depth late in the draft, but more than likely, he goes undrafted. He might be able to stick in the NFL for a few years as a practice squad player.
Missouri has had several talented players make waves in the NFL and hopefully, these Tigers make their mark in the pros!
