Mizzou Football Players in the 2021 NFL Draft – Joshuah Bledsoe, S

After Bolton, there’s a pretty big drop-off as far as talent is concerned, but that doesn’t mean these other four players aren’t good. It just means they have to wait an extra day or two to find out where they’ll be playing next.

The Tigers send two respectable safeties to the draft with the first being Joshuah Bledsoe. While Bledsoe isn’t a first-round talent like teammate Bolton, he could hear his name called on Day 2, likely as a third-round selection (maybe even late second-round, if all goes well).

He’s the second-best player from Missouri in this draft and hopefully, his draft spot reflects that and he goes on to have an impressive career as a pro.

Mizzou Football Players in the 2021 NFL Draft – Tyree Gillespie, S

Tyree Gillespie projects as a backup safety in the early portion of his career with the hopes of transforming into a starter if all goes according to plan. He’d be able to fill in here and there during his first few years in the league while also contributing to special teams.

Then later, the hope would be that he could maybe play a bigger role with whichever team selects him. Gillespie is probably a fifth or sixth-round pick who could end up looking like a steal if he lands with the right team.
