player. 28. . Quarterback. Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr. 3

The difference between No. 3 and No. 4 mostly came down to amount of starts. Derek Carr got the No. 3 spot because he’s played in every game while Drew Lock missed about a month. Also, while Carr’s past two games haven’t seen him put up a ton of yards, he’s taken care of the football.

Carr has thrown for 2,002 yards, 16 touchdowns, and just two picks through his first eight games this season. It’s been a decent start for Carr, but he hasn’t thrown for more than 200 yards in his past two games (but hey – The Raiders won both of those match-ups).

This is Carr’s final shot to prove he can be the quarterback to lead the Raiders to bigger and better things. He had a really good year in 2016 and was in MVP conversations until he was injured late in the season. The Raiders made the playoffs, but Carr wasn’t healthy enough to play, so he’s yet to appear in a playoff game for the organization who drafted him in 2014.

Las Vegas is playing good football this year and while Carr’s numbers aren’t eye popping, they’re enough to have his team at 5-3 and for him to not be the worst quarterback in the division.

Best game – Week 5 vs Chiefs (22 of 31, 347 yards, 3 TD, INT)

Worst game – Week 8 vs Browns (15 of 24, 111 yards, TD)
