Heavy dose of CEH

Last week was a sight to behold, as the Kansas City Chiefs won the game on the back of Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who rushed for 161 yards on the evening. It was a career day for the rookie running back and now it’ll be fascinating to see if this continues to be the route the Chiefs go in.

The Broncos have a better defensive line than that of the Bills, but if the Chiefs can get their ground game going early on, it wouldn’t be shocking if they continued to let CEH be the workhorse and win the game for them once again. The Bills couldn’t stop it, but if Denver can, then will the Chiefs do what they normally do and give up on the run game?

Also, speaking of the run game…

Bell’s Kansas City Debut

Chiefs fans witnessed Le’Veon Bell crushing their hopes and dreams for years when he was a member of the Steelers and always had huge games against our Chiefs. Now here he is in a Chiefs uniform and quite possibly making his debut on Sunday against Denver.

There’s been a lot of speculation this week as to just how big of a role Bell will have in what could be his first game as a Chief. Will he get double digit carries? Will he only have a few? Will Andy Reid mostly utilize him in the passing game?

We might not get all of the questions we have about Bell’s role with this team answered on Sunday, but one thing’s for sure, any carry or reception he has will be evaluated all week long, whether it’s for a big gain or not.

This should be a fun game between division rivals even if the Broncos don’t look to be quite ready to compete for a playoff spot yet. Hey, if they win this game, they’ll be 3-3 on the year and will be riding a three-game winning streak so maybe that’s the spark they need moving forward.

The Kansas City Chiefs have owned the Denver Broncos, but that doesn’t mean this game is a given. Just look at what happened to them against the Raiders and that should be enough reason for you to take this game seriously.
