Bruno Reagan, Center (Vanderbilt)

The Chiefs allowed Mitch Morse to walk in free agency and quite frankly, I don’t blame them. While Morse was a solid player, he became unreliable by missing games due to injury. The Chiefs needed to find his replacement and while Austin Reiter filled in nicely last season in spots, we had a hunch the Chiefs would try and find a rookie at some point in this class.

More from Chiefs Draft Analysis

Bruno Reagan (6’3″, 315 pounds) from Vanderbilt seems like an all-around great fit for that Chiefs offensive line. He started 40 consecutive games, never missing a start and was a named a team captain.

Where his value really lies is in his ability to play all three interior positions of the line. In 2018, he started 13 games, nine of them at center and four of them at guard. The more positions you can play, the better you have a shot at making an NFL Roster.

Reagan fills a position of need for the Chiefs and could potentially push for a starting role against Austin Reiter when training camp starts. If nothing else, with his versatility could find himself in a backup/swing role for that offensive line group.

Solid signing for the Chiefs at a position of need.
