Regarding my Start ‘Ems, Ryan Fitzpatrick is hit or miss, but I like his chances of tearing right through the Redskins’ banged up secondary. Aaron Jones was on his way to a hot game in Foxboro, but a late fumble prevented that. He should fare much better against the Dolphins.
Josh Gordon’s move to New England has been great and he should continue that dominance against Tennessee. C.J. Uzomah has a chance to really put up big numbers against the Saints secondary. The Bolts defense will be licking their chops against Derek Carr and the lowly Raiders offense.
As for my Sit ‘Ems, Alex Smith is going up against a bad Tampa Bay defense, but he has not shown much firepower at all recently. Kerryon Johnson won’t get much done against a stout Bears defense. Golden Tate is with a new team and will need time to figure out what his role is.
Logan Thomas, for those of you who don’t know, is a tight end with the Bills who used to play quarterback at Virginia Tech. He had a decent game last week, but don’t chase the points with him against the Jets. Lastly, don’t trust the Cardinals defense to slow down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. No one has been able to, to this point anyway.
Best of luck this week everyone!
