BAD: Kansas State’s turnover issues

K-State football needed to play cleaner football on Saturday. Had they done that, the Wildcats would have had a much better chance of coming home from Waco, Texas with a win over Baylor.

Ultimately, that’s not what the Wildcats did. Instead, Kansas State turned the ball over three times. Skylar Thompson threw a couple of interceptions, one coming halfway through the fourth quarter when K-State needed him the most, and then Isaiah Zuber fumbled a kickoff to start the third quarter.

These issues were bad and frustrating. Kansas State needs to play more disciplined and mistake-free football moving forward.

The Wildcats certainly could have won this game against Baylor. This would have been a huge bounce back from a couple of frustrating losses. Instead, this game simply added on to that losing streak.
