The 2018 Kansas City Chiefs have a roster full of leaders

It is no secret that Eric Berry is probably the best on-field leader in football. Even last season from the sidelines, he motivated this team and made the guys want to play better.

Patrick Mahomes has taken the leadership role as a starting quarterback and made it into his very own. He works harder than anyone else on the team, spending as much time with his teammates not only playing football but in their personal lives as well.

Every direction you look there are leaders on the field. In every position, there are guys pushing each other to be their best. Be it Hill, Berry, Houston, Kelce, or Mahomes. The amount of leadership skills on this team is exactly what championship teams are made of.

This team is built on a foundation of quality talent, leadership, and IQ. The fact that the Chiefs are so young only means great years to come for the franchise.

These players and coaches are all bought into what the team is doing in 2018. The camaraderie is second to none. From veterans to rookies, each player has a role, each practice is filled with teaching from both the sidelines and in the huddle.

These Chiefs have each other’s backs. The team is one as a unit. They feed off one another and learn from other’s mistakes.
