More often than not, the undrafted free agents are the easy cuts during the preseason. The Chiefs have some talented ones on their team at the moment and all of these players could make a name for themselves.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Fans always have their eyes on the drafted rookies or the new free agents, but watching the lesser known guys can be exciting too. Gehrig Dieter has been discussed frequently since the Chiefs brought him on a year ago and has a decent chance at making the team this year.

The other four players listed all went undrafted this year, but all have something they could bring to the table. Darrel Williams seems to be the popular pick among fans as to who will make us turn heads this preseason, but that also comes with his position.

Running back is flashier and easier to notice than linebacker or cornerback play, at least during the exhibition games. Byron Pringle has that going for him too, as he could see time on special teams returning kicks and/or punts. If he can churn out a few decent returns, a roster spot could be his.
