Pssh, you’re only 5-1? Not impressed. ~ Booger McFarland
There have been plenty of people waiting to say “I told you so” about the Kansas City Chiefs. Apparently that includes ESPN’s Booger McFarland, who seems ready to close the casket on KC already. McFarland is pulling the rug out from under a team with the NFL’s best record. Ok…I guess that makes…absolutely no sense.

Yes, Kansas City lost to the Steelers, and have struggled with them during the Andy Reid era. However, let’s take a second to look at some facts. The Chiefs just lost their first game of the year, and STILL have the best record in the AFC.
On top of that, KC has beaten the Patriots, Eagles (the only other 5-1 team in the NFL), the Redskins, and the Texans. That is a pretty good resume. If you’re telling me one game against the Steelers weighs more than those four games, then I think ESPN needs to update their drug testing policy.
