Hooray for moral victories ~ Locked On Chiefs
There’s nothing wrong with looking on the bright side of a bad situation. However, there is absolutely an extreme that this can be taken to. The hosts of Locked On Chiefs went there on this one. Calling anything about the Chiefs first half performance a “win” is just flat out wrong.

This is professional sports, there is only one “win” out there, and that is scoring more points than your opponent. That’s John Madden Announcing 101. Giving up 12 points was not a win, because the Chiefs were still losing. I mean come on, KC only gave up 19 points all day…was that somehow a win?
The Kansas City defense was awful for much of the game. However they were fortunate in getting some well-timed big plays that stemmed the bleeding. Those big plays prevented the game from being much worse than it could have been, but in no way at all is that a “win”.
