Top 15 Rookies to Target in Fantasy Football: Number 5 – Corey Davis

One of the hottest “dark horse” picks this year in the AFC seems to be the Tennessee Titans and that’s not surprising at all, considering what they added during the offseason. One such name was through the first round of the draft and it was Corey Davis out of Western Michigan.

Assuming Mariota stays healthy, Davis is someone that won’t fail to deliver as far as rookies in the NFL go.

Small school aside, Davis has the chops to make it in the NFL and with Marcus Mariota on the rise of his career, this could be a special season in Nashville. Eric Decker was brought to Tennessee this offseason too, and he and Delanie Walker will be two big targets for Mariota.

Davis, however, should be getting a lot of looks in the red zone, so his touchdown numbers will probably be more impressive than his actual yardage totals. Titans receivers haven’t been great over the last few years, but Davis should be kicking that trend to the curb.

Corey Davis is probably someone that fantasy owners can target in the single digit rounds, but it’ll depend on how the rest of the preseason shakes out. Assuming Mariota stays healthy, Davis is someone that won’t fail to deliver as far as rookies in the NFL go.
