Let’s take a trip back in time to the early 2010s.

During this time (2009-2013 to be exact), I was a student at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. I loved my four years as a student at UCM and thoroughly enjoyed living in Warrensburg.

What I despised the most about these Cardinals fans were that they weren’t actually “fans” of the team.

The thing I hated the most, however (aside from not having Chipotle, which wouldn’t be a problem if I attended UCM now), was the fact that Warrensburg was packed with annoying St. Louis Cardinals fans. These Cardinals fans were obnoxious and rude and they made me a hater of their baseball team just by their attitude alone. I hated them with a fiery passion!

What I despised the most about these Cardinals fans were that they weren’t actually “fans” of the team. Instead, these fans appeared during the postseason and most of them couldn’t name more than two players on the team.

I once asked a friend of mine, who was a “fan”, to name one Cardinals player and her response was Drew Brees. Drew Brees plays quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. He is not nor was he ever a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. That shows you what I was dealing with on a daily basis in good ol’ Warrensburg, Missouri.
