Kansas City Chiefs: Free Agents To Avoid #4
Marshawn Lynch – Running Back
As the “Marshawn Lynch Unemployment Tour” continues on, some Kansas City Chiefs fans may feel tempted to say bring him in. That would be a mistake. Sure, the Chiefs need a running back and Lynch had a great career. However, that does not make the two sides a sound match.
It may seem like Marshawn Lynch is locked in with the Raiders. However, no deal has been struck yet. Do not overlook Lynch’s penchant for living in the spotlight.
Retired players who come out of retirement are rarely at their peak, especially that first year. A great example of this is (again) when Carson Palmer came back and played for the Raiders. He wasn’t even out a full year, but was awful in his return. Then he regained his form with another team. Let’s not be the Raiders.
If u kno me you kno my business is my business and if u don't kno me that's a fun fact for ya... when shit get REAL I'll let you kno!!!!

There is also a schematic fit to consider. The Chiefs offense was built around the running style of Jamaal Charles. We saw that last year with Spencer Ware not being able to be as effective in an every down situation. Marshawn Lynch is just a bigger version of Ware, so the Chiefs would be adding a guy who doesn’t fit.
No, let someone else make this mistake.
