In The Hunt

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5), Miami Dolphins (7-5), Tennessee Titans (6-6), Indianapolis Colts (6-6), and Buffalo Bills (6-6)

With back to back wins on the road, the Kansas City Chiefs have given themselves some breathing room in the AFC playoff race. That is very good news because there are some quality teams that look to be on the outside looking in. That includes the Pittsburgh Steelers who dealt the Chiefs their biggest loss of the season.

The Bills are barely hanging on to their playoff hopes at this point after a meltdown loss against the Raiders. Their hopes likely rest on winning the rest of their games, plus getting some unlikely help. The Dolphins are in only a slightly better boat being up a game on the Bills. The rest of the teams on this list have a realistic shot at winning their division.

The Steelers have the best shot at making the postseason from this list. They are currently tied with the Ravens in the AFC North, but have a favorable remaining schedule. The Titans and Colts are both in the hunt for the AFC South where the Texans seem to be stumbling. Expect to see some changes in this group over the next couple of weeks.
