Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target in 2016 – Number 7: Matt Jones

Matt Jones is expected to be the starting running back for the Redskins this season after Alfred Morris departed for Dallas. Jones isn’t a huge name, which makes him a great sleeper pick and someone who could end up surprising in fantasy.

Jones had four total touchdowns last season, but this season should at least double that. Washington has a new feel to their team with Kirk Cousins running the offense, and Jones should feed off of that.

The reason that Jones is still listed as a sleeper despite likely being the starter is simply his name. No one knows much about the guy, but CBS Sports lists that he needs to work on ball control and on staying healthy.

It can be scary investing in a rather unknown player in the league, but Matt Jones is worth a mid round pick for sure. He could end up being one of the better running backs on your team.
