Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target in 2016 – Number 8: Charcandrick West
Charcandrick West flew off waivers last season as soon as Jamaal Charles was deemed out for the year, but can he be that guy again in fantasy football?
If you want a running back in the later rounds who can add some punch to your roster, West is a great choice.
Jamaal Charles is back, but West proved himself last year to be a nice fantasy option. He put up 27 points against Denver in week ten and was a reliable option off the bench after Charles’ injury.
Charles is aging and he’s coming off of his second ACL surgery. There could be complications with that and if so, West is the guy to have. He’s easily worth a late round pick and could be used as a flex option in some games.
The only thing hurting West’s value is that the Chiefs also have Spencer Ware. Ware was used in red zone situations more and therefore had more touchdowns than West.
Still though. If you want a running back in the later rounds who can add some punch to your roster, West is a great choice.
