The Kansas City Chiefs had a successful season in 2014 despite an 0-2 start, and I think they’ll land at least three or four primetime games in 2015. While it’s very possible that none of my predictions end up happening, the Chiefs will see their fair share of time on national television.

  • I’m really hoping that Kansas City gets to host one or two primetime games in 2015. Last season, the Chiefs hosted the New England Patriots in a memorable game on Monday Night Football that saw the Chiefs completely demolishing the Pats. The Chiefs also hosted the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football and lost to Peyton Manning and his minions once again.

I want the Chiefs to get a few Sunday Night games this year, but I’ll be irritated if they have to play the Broncos once again. They’ve played the Broncos on Sunday Night Football the past two seasons, and both were the Chiefs’ only appearance on SNF.

Honorable mentions for primetime games could be the Chiefs’ games against the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. I don’t see the Chiefs facing any of their NFC opponents in primetime due to several reasons. They’re playing the Lions in London, so that one’s out. The Packers will likely play the Broncos in primetime, and the Bears and Vikings aren’t exactly prime match ups.

What games would you like to see in primetime this season?
