Week 11 – Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders (Chris)

The Chiefs/Raiders rivalry will begin a new chapter when Kansas City travels to Las Vegas to play the Raiders for the first time ever. Fortunately, the Sunday Night Football crew will be there, so the Chiefs will get the chance to christen the Raiders’ brand new stadium on national television by handing them a loss.

The Raiders haven’t beaten the Chiefs since 2017 and likely won’t in 2020. While they have continued to add talented pieces over the last few seasons, it won’t be enough to compete with Kansas City’s star-studded cast.

One interesting piece that the Raiders added in this year’s draft was speedster wide receiver, Henry Ruggs. Raiders’ coach Jon Gruden knows that in order to try and keep up with the Chiefs, you have to have speed.

Ruggs’ speed may draw comparisons to Tyreek Hill, but he won’t have the best quarterback in the game throwing the ball to him like Hill does. Whether it’s Derek Carr or Marcus Mariota under center, neither will have what it takes to overcome what the Chiefs will bring to Vegas.

Prediction: The Raiders will give their fans a little hope to start, but fall apart soon after. Kansas City will open this one up in the second half and win 30-13.

Player to Pop: Chris Jones will impose his will on the Raiders with two sacks, a forced fumble, and a batted pass.

RECORD: 8-2
