Week 9 – Kansas City Chiefs vs Carolina Panthers (Cameron)

*THIS SECTION WAS WRITTEN WITH THE HELP OF A SCREEN READER*

When these two teams last met, it was in 2016 and the makeup of both teams was very different, but the Chiefs still managed to escape Bank of America Stadium with a win because of Eric Berry stepping up to the plate on defense.

Berry is no more in Kansas City, but the Chiefs don’t need him to knock the Panthers off this time. Carolina is in full on rebuild mode and despite having the best running back in the league in Christian McCaffrey, this should be a game KC wins.

That being said, it is beyond question that McCaffrey is the real deal. If the Chiefs defense is not careful, he could make it a very long day for them.

Prediction: McCaffrey will offer a challenge to a Chiefs defense that has struggled against the run in the past, but if they are able to corral him, the Chiefs win it, 24-17.

Player to Pop: Travis Kelce thrives in front of Arrowhead fans, and the fact that there will be only 20% should make no difference. Look for Mahomes and Kelce to make some magic, and for Kelce to finish with roughly 120 yards receiving and a pair of touchdowns.

RECORD: 7-2
