Sit of the Week – Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants

31. . Quarterback. New York Giants. Daniel Jones. 1. player

If it wasn’t clear enough already, the Patriots have a really good defense. “Dimes” has had a terrific start to his career and has already proved a lot of haters wrong, however he is still a rookie. Expect the Patriots to pick him a part in this Thursday night battle. There should be much better options on the waiver wire for week 6.

For one, who will Daniel Jones throw to? Engram was “limited” at practice on Tuesday, Shepard could be out awhile, and Tate is only in his second game back. That leaves Darius Slayton and Cody Lattimer. His best receiver out of the backfield might be Jon Hillman and I don’t know who he is either.

Jones is talented and has some spunk in him, but the Patriots defense may get a chance against Eli Manning for the last time Thursday night if Jones gets scared off. A better choice off the waiver wire may be Jameis Winston against Carolina on Sunday morning if you don’t have a backup.

Though that’s far from ideal, Jones may be one of the worst plays at quarterback this week.
