Patrick Mahomes & Offensive Skill Players

Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback: A+

I mean, obviously.

LeSean McCoy, Running Back: B+

McCoy, signed right before the season began, has been the team’s leading rusher in 2019. He stepped right up when Damien Williams went down with an injury. In all, Shady’s accumulated 285 yards from scrimmage, which is third on the team, on 49 touches while scoring three touchdowns. Not bad for a 31-year-old deemed washed up by, of all teams, the Buffalo Bills.

Damien Williams, Running Back: Incomplete

He’s only played in two games, and he was pretty bottled up in that time. On 22 rushing attempts, he gained only 34 yards, but he caught nine passes for 87 yards. Damien is still the best back of the bunch, and I’m looking forward to his return.

Darrel Williams, Running Back: B

After not touching the ball at all in the first two weeks, he’s got 25 touches the past two games. Though he ran for only 13 yards on eight attempts and fumbled against the Lions, he scored two key touchdowns.

Darwin Thompson, Running Back: Incomplete

Haven’t seen much of this rookie, a sixth-round pick.

Tyreek Hill, Wide Receiver: Incomplete

Only had three touches, including two receptions, before going down with an injury against the Jaguars. I didn’t think this as the team defeated the Raiders and Ravens, but I did after the game against the Lions: this team needs Hill back, and soon.

Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver: B

Where have you gone, Sammy? After an incredible Week 1 (nine receptions on 11 targets for 198 yards and three touchdowns), Watkins’ numbers have kept dropping. He caught less than half of his targets in Week 2 and hasn’t topped 64 yards in the past three games while never reaching the end zone.
