Lamar Jackson comes to Arrowhead for the second time in his young career.

Since entering the league in 2018, Lamar Jackson has been labeled as less of a passer and more of a runner. While still holding slightly true, Jackson is starting to put those labels to rest over the first two games of his sophomore season.

Over the course of weeks one and two, he has completed over 60% of his pass for 596 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions.

While the defensive backs will be busy covering and shutting down his passing options, it’s his feet that can cause a major problem to the Chiefs defense. The quarterback has already ran for 126 yards this season and ran for 67 yards against the Chiefs in last year’s match-up.

Yes, Jackson has begun to show that he can throw the ball better, but he has done it against two of the worst defenses in football (Miami and Arizona). Keeping Jackson inside the pocket, getting pressure, and making him uncomfortable should be a top priority for Coach Spagnuolo and his defense.

The Chiefs pass rush has progressed slowly over the beginning of the season and need to keep the ball rolling against Baltimore.
