Marquise Brown, cousin to now Patriot wide receiver Antonio Brown, is the top passing option and most targeted player on Baltimore’s offense.

Drafted in the first round (Pick 25) in the 2019 NFL Draft, rookie Marquise Brown is shooting right out of the gate and turning heads.

Already establishing himself as top receiver in the league this season, Brown has hauled in 12 reception on 18 targets for a total of 233 yards and two touchdowns. The former Oklahoma Sooner has emerged as the “Tyreek Hill” caliber player that teams are rostering now.

Standing at only 5’9”, 170 pounds, Brown is a player who will be looking to burn past Chiefs corners with his speed and route running abilities. Coach Spagnuolo will be looking to force Jackson to look to his second options down field forcing him to make tough decisions on where to go with the ball.

As we saw against the Oakland Raiders, the Chiefs came out in the first quarter flat.

During the last weeks match-up, Kansas City started the game looking as though they were outmatched against a below average Oakland team. The Chiefs allowed the Raiders to drive the ball down the field on their first two possessions, giving up a field goal and a touchdown, falling into an early 10 – 0 deficit.

While giving up 139 yards in 16 plays to only gaining 31 yards in 11 plays and punting twice, KC did not come out the gate firing on all cylinders. Both offense and defense did not look prepared for the start of the game.

With Baltimore coming into the game with a little bit of revenge on its mind, KC must come out prepared and ready for a dog fight. Starting the game with a powerful statement either on offense or defense will be need to set the tone for the rest of the game.
