The Kansas City Chiefs have some tough quarterbacks on their 2019 schedule. Aaron Rodgers is the toughest though.

The top four consisted of some good quarterbacks, but in the end, those four were pretty easy to rank. Rodgers is the best due to his ability to do just about everything; He can throw the deep ball better than anyone in the league (well – Maybe not Mahomes), he can run, and he can elude the pass by scrambling. He singlehandedly kept the Packers in the playoff hunt last year despite them not having receivers and a bad defense.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Tom Brady is the second toughest signal caller and the Chiefs haven’t had much luck against him recently. They went 0-2 against Brady’s Patriots last year and the hope is that they slay the giant in 2019.

Three and four are Deshaun Watson and Philip Rivers. Watson is dangerous with his legs while Rivers has proven to be one of the most durable quarterbacks in the league who always puts up a fight against the Chiefs.

The rest of the list is definitely more up for debate, especially the middle tier guys like Nick Foles, Kirk Cousins, Matthew Stafford, etc. It’s hard to place these guys more so than the top of the pack.

It’s also worth noting that seven of these 13 quarterbacks made it to the playoffs last year. While Flacco and Brissett could have an asterisk next to their names, they were still members of a playoff team. Speaking of Brissett, I had to come in here and remove Luck’s entry from the list and add in Jacoby Brissett, who is now the starter in Indianapolis.

The ones who didn’t make the playoffs were Mariota, Carr, Stafford, Cousins, and Rodgers. So while the best quarterback on this list is Aaron Rodgers, his team didn’t make it to the playoffs in 2018. Food for thought.
