FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET IN 2019

3. Tre’Quan Smith, WR New Orleans Saints

Tre’Quan Smith was a guy who got some fantasy hype during the season last year but wasn’t ever to turn it into much because of inconsistent production. He did have a couple of monster games though last season as a rookie.

He had a 111 yard, two-touchdown game and a ten reception, 157 yard, one touchdown game last year. So, he has shown the ability to produce but now just needs to work on producing consistently. Having a year of experience now could help him in the consistency category.

The biggest concern with Smith is the fact that he and Ted Ginn are still battling it out for the wide receiver two spot in New Orleans. It would vastly limit his value if he is unable to win this battle to become the number two receiving option, but he has the talent to do so.

Having the number two option in the Saints receiving core could provide tremendous value as one of the best offenses in football. This becomes even more of a value when you find out that you can get this number two receiver at an ADP of 165.5. Smith could be a bargain this year.
