PLAYERS TO WATCH IN PRESEASON WEEK 1

NUMBER 2 – BYRON PRINGLE

While a lot of people are preaching for Gehrig Dieter to make the final roster, Byron Pringle is more talented in my opinion. The Kansas State product opted to leave college early and went undrafted, only to get scooped up by the local Chiefs.

Pringle suffered from not having a great quarterback during his collegiate career, but that wouldn’t be the case in Kansas City. In the final game of the preseason last year, Pringle was absolutely on fire, racking up 122 yards that he caught from third string (possibly even fourth-stringer) Chase Litton.

The fact that Pringle went for over 100 yards with a third/fourth string quarterback throwing to him shows that he could stick around in 2019. Yes, he was playing against third and fourth stringers as well, but hey. Still impressive.

The reason Pringle didn’t make the roster last year was due to an injury, so as long as he stays healthy, keep an eye on the kid from K-State.
