POTENTIAL PRIMETIME GAMES IN 2019

NUMBER 4 – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS VS BALTIMORE RAVENS

The Ravens sort of came out of nowhere last season, going 10-6 on the year and taking the Chiefs down to the wire at Arrowhead. Lamar Jackson was an explosive rookie quarterback and that led to Joe Flacco being traded after the season wrapped up.

Considering how last year’s game between these two went, it’d be hard to pass up on putting the rematch in primetime. This one will once again be at Arrowhead Stadium and while it’s not a guaranteed primetime battle, it’d fit the bill for Sunday Night Football, wouldn’t you think?

The Ravens defense was one of the best in the league last year and dealt Patrick Mahomes fits. They burst right through the beat up Chiefs offensive line and hit Mahomes play after play. Somehow, the MVP persevered and was able to make that crazy play on fourth and forever to take things into overtime.

Any time two good teams go into overtime, a rematch on the highest level is a must. The Chiefs and Ravens deserve to have their 2019 rematch be in a primetime slot.
