Time and time again, it looked like the Kansas City Chiefs were going to lose this game. They allowed a big special teams play from the Ravens near the end of the fourth quarter that later allowed the Birds to take a 24-17 lead.
After miraculously tying things up, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens had the ball with enough time left to drive down the field and let Justin Tucker work his magic. Instead, Justin Houston gets his mitts on the ball and the Chiefs defense did their part.
Then, in overtime, the Ravens kept KC out of the end zone, so all they had to do was get a touchdown and they’d win. Well, Jackson got hurt, RG3 came in, and the Chiefs held their ground. It was too close for comfort, but at the end of the day, a win is a win.
Next up for the Chiefs is a short week before hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. That game could very well be for all of the marbles and the number one seed in the AFC. Let’s get it done, Chiefs Kingdom!
