The Wildcats head to Morgantown to open Big 12 play

The Mountaineers will be a notable team in 2018. Will Grier returns as the Heisman hopeful quarterback. Last season he threw for roughly 3,500 yards with 34 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. This season he looks to add to those numbers and bring home some hardware.

Head coach Dana Holgerson has done a fantastic job at West Virginia. They have routinely been in the mix season to season. This season will be no different.

More than likely this will end up being a cat and mouse game between the two schools. Look for the Wildcats to try and keep Grier off the field and control the clock.

The Wildcats are going to be good this year, but a win at Morgantown will be tough. Alex Barnes will have to have a good game for the Wildcats as he will be the featured guy as long as Kansas State is in the game to win it.

This is a game where it seems like Delton would give Kansas State the better chance to win. He’s a better ball carrier than Thompson and as long as it is close, the game will be played on the ground offensively.
