Watkins continues to impress against the 49ers last season

In Watkins third game with the LA Rams after being traded last offseason, he could not be contained. He caught 6-7 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Watkins never looked comfortable with the Rams, but he still made some amazing catches and had some pretty good games. He recently spoke with USA Today, saying he came to the Chiefs because of Patrick Mahomes.

You can see by now he has the ability to take over games. He has the ability to get open and catches the ball almost every time. These highlights also reflect what Sammy can do after he catches the ball.

He has pull-away speed and is extremely good at knowing where he, the defenders, and the ball are at all times.

This game against San Francisco provides a glimpse at everything he can do. From a simple curl route, a slant across the middle, a go route and more. This guy now plays for the Chiefs. He is such an upgrade from previous years.

The most impressive catch is the basket catch deep downfield with defenders draped all over him. The Chiefs have always been missing that other guy, Watkins is that other guy. If he can do just a half of what he did in this game, he can be a major contributor.
