CONCLUSION

More from Kansas City Chiefs

This year’s Kansas City Chiefs running backs room may look a little different from last year. The old one two punch of Ware and West from a few seasons ago will likely be a distant memory, making for a little room in the salary cap.

The offseason signing of Damien Williams might prove to be vain in light of his return from shoulder surgery. New fullback J.D. Moore looks like a potential candidate for the practice squad. No matter whose name makes it on the list, Chiefs Kingdom is going to see some talent on the field.

The run game has been what the Chiefs have been most known for over the last decade or so, as Jamaal Charles was typically one of the best in the league year in and year out. With Hunt in the fold now, the Chiefs have a chance to get back to that “run heavy” offense again.

They’ll obviously be a decent passing team too, as their new gunslinging quarterback will be prone to airing out the football, but when in doubt, the Kansas City Chiefs have been a running team. These guys should continue that tradition.
