Kansas City Chiefs: Christmas wish list for fans in 2017

Wish # 2 – Alex Smith during 5-0 run
The Chiefs need Alex Smith to be the Alex Smith that wins football games. Perhaps at one point in time this season, Smith was a candidate for the MVP Award. In order to go farther than normal, Smith must be that Smith we saw early on in the season.
Chiefs fans hope Smith can guide them to promise land with his MVP-like stats this season.
Smith started the season with a fiery way of playing. Although, after a few great games, Smith went to the toilet. All Chiefs fans desperately wish for Smith to dominate these last few games, and then hopefully dominate the playoffs.
To look further ahead, Chiefs fans also wish for Smith to dominate to raise trade interest. There is no secret that Smith is on the trading block in the offseason. With rookie Patrick Mahomes II developing this season, the Chiefs will soon look to move Smith elsewhere.
If he can play well to finish out the season, the Chiefs could receive a great exchange with the unknown future team. For now, Chiefs fans hope Smith can guide them to promise land with his MVP-like stats this season. His time is winding down in Kansas City, and fans hope for the best as the clock is ticking.
