Alex Smith is having one of the most surprising seasons this year, currently having 16 touchdowns and no interceptions on his resumé. Smith has been the difference maker for the Chiefs this year and he’ll have a great opportunity to impress his fantasy football owners, as he has a nice match-up against the Cowboys defense on Sunday.
Dallas hasn’t been great defensively, but more than that is how impressive Smith has been this year. He had a rough week against Denver’s defense last week, but let’s not kid ourselves… The Cowboys D is nothing close to what the Broncos have defensively.
With all of the weapons that Smith has and with how explosive the Chiefs offense has been this year with him at the helm, expect the Chiefs quarterback to keep wowing the critics this weekend. Smith isn’t always a “sure thing starter” in fantasy football, but he’s working his way towards being a must-start each and every week.
