TOP 15 DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET IN 2017 – NUMBER 5: TYRELL WILLIAMS

When looking at the Los Angeles Chargers, one might wonder why they’re always in the AFC West basement as of late. They have several legit offensive weapons and a guy not as well known could be someone worth looking into this season for fantasy football.

That Chargers receiver is Tyrell Williams. Despite having a season where he hauled in 69 passes for over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns, not many people are talking about Williams.

Perhaps that’s because Keenan Allen is back in action this year or because the Chargers could have rookie first round pick Mike Williams back midway through the year. Throw in Hunter Henry and Antonio Gates at the tight end positions and Melvin Gordon at running back, and Tyrell Williams is easy to forget about.

Williams could be easier to obtain for owners due to a current injury that could sideline him for the season opener. If Williams is healthy, however, expect him to have another good year catching passes from Philip Rivers until Mike Williams takes the field.
