Kansas football all-time receiving yards: 1. Dezmon Briscoe (3,240)

Awwww yeah! Number one all-time in receiving yards is yet another guy who played for KU during their hey day and it’s Dezmon Briscoe! Briscoe is the only guy to put up over 3,000 yards receiver with the Jayhawks and he did so in just three seasons.

Briscoe could go down as the best wide receiver in Kansas history, as he holds the record for most receiving yards all-time and also recorded two 1,000 yard receiving seasons. His 2008 campaign saw him grab 92 passes for 1,407 yards and an astounding 15 touchdowns while his 2009 season went for 84 receptions, 1,337 yards, and nine touchdowns.

All together, Briscoe put up 219 receptions for 3,240 yards and an overwhelming 31 touchdowns. He was a skilled receiver for sure!

Briscoe went on to spend three seasons in the NFL after being a sixth round draft pick in 2009. He spent time with the Buccaneers and Redskins and was out of the league after 2012.

The debate as to who was better between Dezmon Briscoe or Kerry Meier could really go either way, but I’d have to lean towards Briscoe. His two 1,000 yard seasons for a school like Kansas is incredibly impressive.
