Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Target in 2017 – Number 4: GREG OLSEN

2016 Ranking: 3rd

Greg Olsen is always a safe bet when it comes to who to have as your starting tight end. He’s amassed 1,000 yards the last three seasons, which shows that he’s Cam Newton’s favorite guy to throw to.

Olsen’s touchdown numbers did decrease last year, however, going from seven in 2015 to just three in 2016. He was one of three tight ends to go over the 200 points mark last year though and he’s a nice choice to draft in the earlier rounds.

Another positive thing about Greg Olsen is that the guy stays healthy. The Panthers tight end hasn’t missed a start since the 2011 season, which happened to be his first year in Carolina. He’s one of the best players on the Panthers offense and will be one of the first tight ends taken off the board.

If you’re looking for one the top tight ends, you’ll want to draft them between the third and fifth rounds. Greg Olsen is someone that will be gone quick, so if you want him, be on the lookout sometime in those rounds to add him to your squad.
