Peyton Manning: Unemployed
I am begrudgingly including Peyton Manning on this list for the Kansas City Chiefs. I don’t think it will happen, and I don’t want it to happen. However, I will be harassed for days on end by people if I don’t include Peyton Manning on this list. He is unqualified and has no ties to Kansas City or the Chiefs organization. I do this under protest.
With that said, let me tell you why this could happen…
Throughout his time in Indianapolis and Denver, Peyton Manning has been a part of his respective team’s decision making. For much of his career, Manning had a voice in what players were going to be invested in for the offensive side of the ball.
In all honesty, the man I'd hire if I were Clark Hunt to become the new #Chiefs GM, would be Peyton Manning - hands down my #1 Choice!

Most of the talk about Peyton Manning these days revolves around coaching. However, in the wake of the Colts firing Ryan Grigson, Manning was a popular replacement candidate. He eventually advised he didn’t feel ready for that kind of role. However, you never know how things might have changed since then.
