The top name on my list of GM candidates for the Kansas City Chiefs is Eliot Wolf of the Green Bay Packers. The son of the famous Ron Wolf, Eliot has been working his way up through the Packers front office. Many believe he is not far away from being named a GM. In fact, many consider him the top candidate to replace Ted Thompson in Green Bay when he retires.
However, there are a lot of people who may be in he mix to take over in Green Bay. That puts things in question there. Meanwhile, the Kansas City job is open now. The Chiefs also offer a lot of the same benefits that the Packers do. If Eliot Wolf feels he is ready to make the move now, KC could easily be his ideal job.
Eliot Wolf is a popular name for many GM searches. Oddly enough, the Chiefs now have a distinct advantage in going after him thanks to their current situation. This would be a very good example of making the most out of a situation.

The Kansas City Chiefs surprised everyone with the news that John Dorsey was no longer the GM. However, life will have to go on and the Chiefs will have to find a replacement. Kansas City has some distinct advantages as a potential job, and there are plenty of well-qualified candidates. Hopefully Clark Hunt picks a good one.
