TOM CREAN (Indiana)

While Tom Crean has done wonders at the University of Indiana, it might just be time for both sides to move on and go in different directions.

Crean has been at Indiana since 2008 and has led the Hoosiers to some impressive seasons, including two Big Ten Championship titles. Indiana has made it to the NCAA Tournament in four of the last six years, but after a less than stellar season in 2016-2017, the love is fading away for Coach Crean in Bloomington.

This season saw the Hoosiers go 17-14, good for tenth in the Big Ten. This is a choice that seems logical for Missouri, but at the same time, Crean’s job isn’t necessarily gone at Indiana just yet.

Keep an eye on this name though. Like the tweet indicates above, Tom Crean has experience with rebuilding a crappy franchise. The Hoosiers had six total wins in 2008 and within seasons had grown into a legit threat throughout March Madness.

Crean also had success during his time at Marquette, leading them to 190 total wins in his decade-long career there.

This would be a nice pick for the Tigers, but there are certainly other options out there that might be more likely.
