SCOTT DREW (Baylor)

While Baylor has had a nice year under Scott Drew, the 46-year old head coach of the Bears might decide to head back towards his wife’s homeland. Drew’s wife actually attended Missouri, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and he himself is from Kansas City.

[Scott] Drew is mainly being rumored due to his hometown ties to the Tigers, which makes sense.

With all of the drama that Baylor has had over the past few years (yes, even worse than Mizzou), this is a logical choice.

Drew has done well at Baylor, leading the Bears to a NCAA Tournament appearance in the last three seasons. This past year, the Bears were even ranked number one in the country at one point.

If Drew decided to head to Columbia, he’d no longer have to face the Jayhawks, a team that has whooped his team’s butt over the years, and he’d be closer to his hometown.

This is more of a speculative rumor, as I couldn’t find a legitimate tweet linking the two sides. Drew is mainly being rumored due to his hometown ties to the Tigers, which makes sense.
