AFC Playoffs 6th Seed

Miami Dolphins (9-5)

Kansas City Chiefs fans are chuckling a little bit to see the Miami Dolphins in the second Wild Card spot. Why is that? Because it means the Denver Broncos are currently on the outside looking in. That’s huge for the Chiefs, although this Dolphins squad should not be overlooked by anyone right now. Miami doesn’t have a lot of impressive wins, but they are still on a bit of a roll right now.

The Dolphins only hope for the playoffs lie in the Wild Card. Miami cannot catch the Patriots at this point, so they now have to look to stayin ahead of the Titans, Broncos and whoever doesn’t win the AFC North. The Fins could also benefit from the Chiefs losing their final two games depending on final conference records.

The Dolphins go on the road this week against a Buffalo Bills team that isn’t technically out of the postseason, and hasn’t technically fired Rex Ryan. Miami needs this win to keep themselves in front of the pack, especially as they are finishing the season against a red hot New England squad that appears almost unbeatable.
