In The Hunt

Tennessee Titans (8-6), Baltimore Ravens (8-6), Denver Broncos (8-6), and Indianapolis Colts (7-7)

The AFC Wild Card picture is starting to tighten up, but the Kansas City Chiefs look like front runners. The rest of the contenders will have a tough time matching the Chiefs record, and some need more than just one win to get into the postseason. That includes a Denver Broncos team that has to travel to Kansas City this week.

The Ravens and Titans are probably in the best spot out of this group. Both teams are second in their divisions, but face the teams ahead of them. For the Ravens, beating the Steelers is essentially their only way into the postseason. The Titans could end up as a Wild Card, but need to be gunning for the division crown.

The Indianapolis Colts still fall in this group, but just barely. The Colts playoff hopes are on life support and will likely end this weekend regardless of the result of their own game. That’s not good news for a Chiefs team that needs an Indy win over the Raiders. Don’t be surprised if this list is down to just two, or even one, team after this weekend.
