K-State Football: Three Things to Watch Vs TCU Horned Frogs
TCU No Stranger to Putting Up Points
When Kenny Hill transferred to TCU from Texas A&M, people figured that the Horned Frogs were going to be a great offensive unit.
So far this season, Hill has thrown for 3,010 yards and 15 touchdowns. Where the young quarterback has struggled is with turnovers, as he’s had 13 picks on the year. That could be what does TCU in in this game, as the Wildcats secondary is great at picking off the football.
Running the football is another thing that the Horned Frogs are good at. Their leading rusher, Kyle Hicks has just shy of 900 yards on the ground and has barreled his way into the end zone 12 times.
Last season, TCU got into a shootout with the Wildcats at Manhattan and came out victorious by a score of 52-45. While I don’t expect the score to be nearly that high this season, it’s possible that both squads could put up some points early on.
