K-State football will finish out their regular season play this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas when they square off against the TCU Horned Frogs. Here are three things to watch in the battle of the purple teams.
The Kansas State Wildcats appear to be one of the few teams playing in a regular season game this weekend, but they will head to TCU’s campus and play their final game of 2016 down in Texas.
There’s no question that this season has been incredibly disappointing for the Horned Frogs. With a blowout win against the Texas Longhorns last weekend that resulted in Charlie Strong getting canned, TCU is officially bowl eligible.
At 6-5, the Horned Frogs have had a bad season, but they’re not a bad team. Unlike K-State, the Horned Frogs are a good passing team, totaling 3,202 yards in the air this season. Them throwing the ball more has led to more interceptions with 13 to Kansas State’s five.
Let’s take a look at some other areas to watch for during this Big 12 match-up.
