Good: Offensive Line

I don’t need to say much here, other than that Alex Smith was not sacked once in this game.

Now it’s worth pointing out that the New Orleans Saints pass rush is atrocious, but still. This Chiefs offensive line had not been playing well early in the season, but they’ve only allowed their quarterback to be sacked once in the past two games. That’s excellent!

We’ve seen how well Smith can play when he has time to make plays and I really hope this is the type of play we see from this offensive line for the rest of the season. They’ve been tremendous and have gelled well.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a decent offensive line in Kansas City, but this has the makings of a terrific line. They’ll be playing not so good defenses in the next few weeks too, so let’s hope them playing well becomes a trend.
